Indian music, with its rich tapestry of diverse traditions, evokes profound inspiration through intricate melodies, mesmerizing rhythms, and soul-stirring ragas that create a harmonious symphony. From classical to modern tunes, this vibrant heritage embodies the essence of India’s culture, igniting creativity and captivating hearts worldwide. However, in the last two decades, the urge to learn music and the attraction towards it has been diminishing among the younger generations compared to the past. To address this concern, Sangeetayan – School of Music was established with a few students by music lovers and teachers of the coal belt region, under the leadership of Smt. Bandana Guha, who inspired them to nurture this talent among the new generation. Later, a chorus group was formed, gradually gaining recognition and popularity in society.
